Sariri is a series whose name means "Traveler" or "Wanderer" in the Andean Aymara language which Almuelle was exposed to growing up in that part of Peru. All the figures are illustrated with transfers taken directly from journals and sketchbooks that have accompanied Almuelle on her own travels. These images are not only transferred but drawn and hand painted as well, making each pieceunique, then finished with a thin layer of beeswax.
