LOCUS
A Locus is a center of activity, attention, or concentration but also defines the location of a specific aspect of a unit in reference to its whole. In this series, each piece stands on a pole, pinpointing a specific place which is temporary but distinct in the moment, a place held individually but in relation to its context. Each piece contains the seed of the element developed further in the next, expressing a narrative pattern for understanding the place we hold at any given moment, that place right under our feet.
